Pusteblume Ceiling Fixture by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll, Austria circa 1965
Pusteblume or spherical seed head shaped ceiling fixture designed by Emil Stejnar for Robert Nikoll comprises a polished nickel plated frame, stem, and arms, and 17 lights. The arms serve as the visual base for the structural clusters decorated with white enameled metal filaments that have clear plastic faceted crystals on alternating ends and that surround either a centre candelabra light socket or a centre rosette. The fixture is shown with round mirrored light bulbs.
