Large Snowball Silvered Ceiling Lamp by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll, 1950s

Very rare silvered brass lamp! this ceiling lamp was designed by emil stejnar in the 1950s and manufactured by rupert nikoll. The spheric lamp features a brass core mounted with lacquered wire baskets. 17 white lacquered shades holding e 14 bulbs alternate with glass flowers and prisms to create the snowball (or "pusteblume") effect after which this piece is named. Complete and all original! rewired! I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, up to 250v (europe/uk standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
