1948 Eiffel Chair, Orange-Wood
$119.00
Created in 1948, the molded shell chair gained second place in a design competition backed by the Museum of Modern Art. This chair series can adapt to various base types. The term "Dowel" relates to its Wooden Peg Leg design, which enhances structural strength and offers an industrial design vibe through wire cross bracing. Designed with a wood and steel base, the shell is made from ABS plastic exhibiting a soft satin finish. Chrome elements have carefully smoothed and sealed weld points. The reproduction respects the original with a "waterfall curved edge" for comfort behind the legs. The chair maintains the exact shape and dimensions as the 1948 model and includes non-marking floor protectors.
