1948 Eiffel Chair, Lime Green-Metal
$109.00
First designed in 1948, this molded shell chair gained recognition in a MoMA-sponsored competition. Its shell can accommodate various base designs. The 'Dowel' name refers to the Wooden Peg Leg feature, with wooden dowels providing slots for metal plate attachments. Wire cross bracing offers structural stability and an industrial look. The chair has a wood and steel base, with an ABS plastic shell featuring a satin glow sheen. Chrome welds are sanded and sealed. It includes a curved edge for leg comfort and maintains the original’s shape and dimensions, complete with non-marking floor protectors.
