1948 Eiffel Chair, Lime Green-Wood
$119.00
Originating in 1948, the molded shell chair achieved 2nd place in MoMA's International Competition for Low-Cost Furniture Design. This shell can adapt to diverse base styles. The 'Dowel' refers to the Wooden Peg Leg structure. Wooden dowels have slots for metal plates attachment, offering both structural stability and an appealing industrial design. Like the original, this chair has a wood and steel base, with an ABS plastic shell featuring a soft satin glow. The chrome elements' weld points of the eiffel base are sanded and sealed. This replica maintains the 'waterfall curved edge' design for seated comfort at the back of the legs, mirroring the 1948 original's shape and dimensions, and it includes non-marking floor protectors.
