Le Chaise Lounge Chair, Black/Natural

The 1948 Eames La Chaise is a sculptural art piece designed to contour the human form for ergonomic lounging. Created for the Museum of Modern Art, it was initially too expensive to produce. Built with multiple fiberglass shells, separated by a rubber disk, and filled with Styrene for touch comfort. Supported by diagonally positioned steel posts, it features a Solid Walnut base. Kardiel's 1948 La Chaise replica remains true to the original dimensions and materials, keeping it as much a sculpture as a lounge chair.
