Le Chaise Lounge Chair White/Walnut

$599.00

Originally designed in 1948, the Eames La chaise is more art than chair, sculpted around the human form for an ergonomic lounge experience. Created for the Museum of Modern Art, high demand couldn't make it to market due to production costs. Using bonded fiberglass shells, it offers comfortable depth, with a Styrene-filled void separated by hard rubber disks. Its free-flowing design supports a relaxed human posture, suspended by five solid steel posts on a Walnut base. Kardiel's reproduction follows the original design and materials precisely. Even today, it remains a sculpture first and a chaise second.
