Le Chaise Lounge Chair, White/Natural

$599.00

Renowned for its artistic design, the 1948 Eames La Chaise is a testament to form following function. Charles and Ray Eames created this piece for the Museum of Modern Art, yet it was not commercially available until much later due to production costs. Multiple bonded fiberglass shells provide depth and comfort. A hard rubber disk separates them, filled with Styrene, preserving its 1948 design. The design promotes natural relaxation, with the shell held by five diagonally positioned steel posts. The design's right-front rods cross before securing below. The Kardiel reproduction meticulously adheres to the original's dimensions and materials. Today, as in the past, it stands as much as an art piece as it does a lounge chair.
