The seat and back support consist of a continuous section of Italian leather upholstery, stretched between two metal ribs. Similar to the 1958 Lider series, the main difference lies in the individual 'floating' cushion pads hand-stitched onto the back and seat. The Mid Back version has a lower profile back height with two attached 'floating' pads and one seat pad cushion for added comfort and support. Genuine Italian leather was chosen for the upholstery of this reproduction. Attention to detail includes the ribbed stitching and the period-correct Atomic metal ball on the height-adjusting lever.
