Virkelyst is a series of modern outdoor furniture with the seating comfort of indoor furniture. The simple wooden frame strikes a contrast with the thick, soft cushions. Able to withstand wind and weather, the upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified and extremely color and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. The cushion dries quickly even after heavy downpour, as the foam has an open-cell structure that allows both water and air to pass through.

Nikolaj Duve and Kasper Meldgaard gain inspiration from the Danish designers of the 1950s. Their style is present-day and thought through down to the smallest detail, although strongly rooted in the simplicity, minimalism and function of the Scandinavian design tradition. As the name Says Who indicates, the two designers are their willing to challenge conventional expectations. As often as they can get away with it, they ask 'Says Who?', and are pleased about the direct invitation to get involved that lies in the question.

Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy type of wood. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant, perfect for functional everyday items in your home such as household articles and furniture. Skagerak FSC™-certified Teak comes from Brazil, Panama, Costa Rica and Indonesia. As the wood is untreated the surface will patina and change color over time into a beautiful silvery grey. To maintain untreated wood, it is a good idea to use sandpaper (grit 120-150) once or twice a year.
