Warnicke Spoonbill
An image inspired by a plate from American Ornithology (published 1808-1814), illustrating the earliest study of American birds. Alexander Wilson, a Scottish-American poet, naturalist, and illustrator, known as 'the Father of American Ornithology,' illustrated 268 birds, 26 of which were previously undocumented. Due to budget constraints, multiple species appear on the same plate. This item is not eligible for discounts.
