Making the Icon

Sleek rectangular shapes are evident in the design of both the seat and frame. Eleanor successfully combines comfortable seating with exceptional aesthetics, which is uncommon for mid-century modern pieces. A well-tailored appearance is achieved through the snug fitted back design.

Button tufting is absent on the seat cushion for easier maintenance, with a single row of button tufting on the back. The gently cushioned frame and matching piping at the seams highlight the minimalist lines. Wooden legs provide a sense of grounding, and the stiletto design lifts Eleanor from the floor, offering a spacious midcentury modern feel.

About Cashmere Wool Tweed

Cashmere wool fiber is sourced from “Cashmere goats.” Historically, these goats have been referred to as Capra hircus laniger, a subspecies of the domestic goat Capra Hircus. Cashmere goats produce a double fleece consisting of a fine, soft undercoat mingled with a straighter, coarser outer coating called Guard Hair. The fine under-down must be de-haired, a mechanical process that separates the coarse hairs from the fine hair. After de-hairing, the premium “cashmere” is ready to be dyed and spun into yarn.

This option offers a full service delivery experience with no lifting or physical effort. A team of two delivery professionals will arrive on a prescheduled day and time, bring your furnishings into your home, place them in your desired location, and remove the packaging. Old packaging material will be placed in a designated location. Door removal and replacement, condo or high rise deliveries, and stair climbs are all accommodated. Average delivery times are 9-12 business days from the day your order leaves the Kardiel warehouse.

Curbside Residential Delivery

This economical option delivers your furnishings to your home or business curbside. You will need to be present to accept the delivery and prepared to carry the items inside, as inside delivery is not included. Tracking numbers are provided within 24 hours of your order leaving the Kardiel warehouse. Average delivery times nationwide are 7-10 business days. The delivery is guaranteed safe when you inspect and sign for any potential shipping damage. The delivery company will call to schedule the delivery date and time window.

Hawaii & Alaska
