Standard Grain Leather, also known as “Grain Corrected” leather, is the most common and moderately priced leather for furniture and footwear. It is produced using hides that require “Grain Correction”. The leather is topically dyed, meaning the color is applied over the surface. Grain Correction involves coating areas with imperfections with polymer and stamping an artificial grain.
