The chaise sofa sectional design creates additional seating and improved lounging space in a compact mid century modern design. The Kardiel reproduction features a full width back and seat cushion on the sofa side and a full length seat cushion on the chaise side. An uncluttered appearance results from the full cushion lengths when used in this chaise sectional format. It is well known that Florence studied and collaborated with Mies Van Der Rohe. Knoll designed the classic trio using a durable stainless steel frame with minimal materials. Cubic cushions featuring compressed buttons in a purposeful and logical layout provide style and comfort to the supporting thin armed, minimalist frame. Originally meant to complement the classic innovations of Saarinen and Bertoia, the mid century modern style perfectly compliments todays modern home. ABOUT Cashmere Wool Tweed

Cashmere goats produce a double fleece that consists of a fine, soft undercoat or under-down of hair mingled with a straighter and much coarser outer coating of hair called Guard Hair. For the fine under-down to be sold and processed further, it must be de-haired. De-hairing is a mechanical process that separates the coarse hairs from the fine hair. After this separating process, the resulting premium “cashmere” is ready to be dyed and converted into yarn.
