This reproduction of the Florence Knoll 1956 Sofa is a Kardiel signature piece. Created with high attention to detail, you can own a version of one of the most influential designer icons of the 20th century. From the traditional hardwood box frame construction to the premium upholstery, this is a high-quality reproduction of the Florence. Florence studied and collaborated with Mies Van Der Rohe. Knoll designed the classic trio using a durable stainless steel frame with minimal materials. Cubic cushions with compressed buttons in a logical layout provide style and comfort to the thin-armed, minimalist frame. Originally meant to complement the classic innovations of Saarinen and Bertoia, the mid-century modern style perfectly complements today's modern home. Available in individual pieces including chaise sectional sofa, standard 3 seat sofa, 2 seat loveseat, and armchair configurations. Coordinating bench and ottomans are also available.

100% Standard Grain Leather

Standard Grain Leather. 95% of the world's leather is classified as Standard Grain leather, also known as “Grain Corrected” leather. Grain corrected leather is the most common and moderately priced leather for furniture and footwear. It is produced using hides that require “Grain Correction”. Standard is topical dyed, meaning the color is applied over the top of the leather and does not go all the way through. Grain Correction involves coating areas of the raw leather with imperfections with polymer and then stamping an artificial grain, thus “correcting the grain”.
