Antique George iii Mahogany Corner Oak Cabinet

An antique George III mahogany and oak bow fronted corner cupboard, Full of character and exquisite craftmanship, a late 18th century cabinet with a moulded cornice, interior fixed shelves with a trio of small drawers at base, enclosed by a pair of large, tall doors. Brass escutcheons, hinges, and drawer pulls. Comes with original lock and tassel key. Lock is a bit temperamental and does need to be handled with care. There is a hook attachment under the shelf that moves across and can be attached to the left door to secure. Oak drawer boxes and fixed shelves. Lovely age-related marks and patina throughout, commensurate with age and use. Striking features painted matt black sides, top and bottom. Comes with wall hanging attachments. It does need to be fixed to the wall in a corner of the room. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished, and ready for the home.
