Roche is a well recognized modernist icon originally designed in 1928 for the Maison La Roche house in Paris. Roche, like the original design was revolutionary in its making. The entire armchair is built around the cushions with a metal exoskeleton wrapped around them.  It is no surprise that originally Roche was appropriately dubbed “cushion baskets.”

Making the Icon

The low profile mono height arm and back create a lineal cubed appearance. A stainless steel exoskeleton wraps from the front of the arms coimpletely around to the back. A base metal frame and reinforced seat platform support the underside. The multidensity foam cushions are wrapped in Dacron. Its not just the front of the Roche that is attractive, the metal frame work means design detail from the sides and back allow for easy placement even in the middle of a room. Often used in commercial and residential settings, the seating comfort level of Roche standard is firm.

100% Standard Grain Leather

Standard Grain Leather. 95% of the world's leather is classified as Standard Grain leather also known as “Grain Corrected” leather. Grain corrected “genuine leather” is the most common and moderate priced leather for furniture and footwear. It is produced using hides that require what the industry terms, “Grain Correction”. Standard is topical dyed, meaning the color is applied over the top of the leather. The color does not go all the way through the leather. Grain Correction, is a process in which various areas of the raw leather which contain imperfections in appearance are coated with polymer and then an artificial grain is stamped, thus “correcting the grain”.

Premium Full Service home delivery

The best value for those looking for a full service delivery experience with no lifting or physical effort involved. A team of 2 rigorously screened home delivery professionals arrive on a day and time prescheduled with you. Your furnishings are brought into your home and placed in the desired location in the room(s) of your choice. The furniture is removed from the packaging/boxes. The old packaging material is then placed in a designated location.

Perhaps you need door(s) removed and replaced? Maybe you live in a condo or high rise building? Maybe there are flight(s) of stairs to climb? The safe arrival of your items is guaranteed and no obstacle is too large. We will do anything necessary to complete your delivery with quality, care and a smile. Average delivery times are 9-12 business days from the day your order leaves the Kardiel warehouse.

Curbside Residential Delivery

This economical delivery option brings your new furnishings direct to your home or business. The term curbside indicates that the items are brought to the "curb" but not inside the home.

This is a signed delivery option which means you will need to be present to accept the delivery. You will need to be prepared to carry the items into your home or office as this service does not include inside delivery. Tracking numbers are provided within 24 hours of your order leaving the Kardiel warehouse. Average delivery times nationwide for this service are 7-10 business days from the day the shipment leaves the Kardiel warehouse. The delivery is guaranteed safe when you inspect and sign with the driver for any potential shipping damage. The delivery company calls to schedule the delivery date and window of time as the arrival date of your items draws closer.

Hawaii & Alaska

Hawaii & Alaska orders allow average 12-18 business days for arrival. Tracking numbers will be provided. Alaska and Hawaii orders are not eligible for advertised "continental U.S" shipping promotions. As over water transport is involved, the shopping cart will not calculate
