1928 Recliner Revival
Gravity lounge is our reproduction of a classic mid-century modern lounge recliner. Initially created in 1928 and exhibited at the Salon D' Automne in Paris in 1929, it uses gravity and touch to change its reclining angle. Once in position, it stays put. Its design mirrors the body's natural curves.

Filled generously with shape-forming foam, the cushion is supported by a flexible suspension strap network. This mid-century piece offers hammock-like comfort. The angles and tubular bent steel body replicate the original design, making it a 1920’s modernism icon reproduced for today's homes.
