Palm Springs Giant Polka Dot Vase 2

Introducing a limited-edition collection of hand-thrown vessels from Palm Springs, each of monumental scale. The collection features five oversized forms, with only 15 pieces produced for each design. Crafted from black stoneware infused with chunky grog, the vases are then trimmed and chattered to create a striated texture. A wax resist process is used to expose the raw clay, and each piece is adorned with a simple polka dot pattern of varying sizes, finished in an ivory glaze. Produced by skilled artisans in a Peruvian workshop, each vase showcases rigorous craftsmanship. Chattering is achieved when a potter rhythmically bounces a tool across the vessel's surface.
