Tulip Armchair, Black Wool
Originally designed by Eero Saarinen in 1955, the Tulip Chair complements the Tulip Table and earned various design awards throughout the years. Its iconic futuristic curves were even featured on Star Trek. Originally made from fiberglass, many of these chairs remain functional today, while current reproductions primarily use ABS plastic, which often breaks under stress. Saarinen chose fiberglass for its durability and shine. Our reproduction precisely follows the original's specifications, with molded fiberglass shells and an aluminum base ensuring long life and superior appearance. The chair also includes a multi-density foam seat cushion upholstered in Tweed Cashmere Wool. With 360-degree swivel functionality and protective floor caps, the chair is both practical and stylish. Delivery options include curbside and full-service delivery, ensuring safe and timely arrival across the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska. Our delivery team handles details like moving furniture into your desired space, unpacking, and disposal of packaging.
