Originally designed in 1955 by Eero Saarinen, the Tulip Chair was created to accompany the Tulip Table. Acclaimed for its futuristic design, it received multiple awards in the 1960s. Featuring fiberglass construction, many original chairs still exist today, while modern replicas use ABS plastic which may weaken over time. Fiberglass offers durability and a glossy finish as intended by Saarinen. The chairs feature white molded fiberglass shells on an aluminum base, delivering a smooth, cohesive look.
