Initially a fiberglass base was used, but due to support issues, Eero switched to cast aluminum with a Rilsan coating for gloss and color consistency. The design features a sleek appearance, and matching chairs create a coherent look. One interesting note is the Tulip Chair’s appearance on Star Trek in the 1960s. Finished pieces come with floor protection caps, a three-year limited warranty, and matching options are offered to suit different needs.
