The safe foam is multi-density foam for comfort, support, and cushion memory. The chair dimension is width 37.8" x depth 38.6" x height 35". The dimension floor to seat height is 18.1". The ottoman dimension is width 24.8" x depth 21.7" x height 18.9". The features include a smooth contour cold-pressed foam body wrap, cross edge stitch, removable ottoman and chair seat and back cushions, flex angle and height adjustable floor protecting pad discs, and the entire chair and ottoman is stitched and crafted by hand. It also comes with floor protection caps on legs and a 3-year limited warranty. The Womb Chair and Ottoman is inspired by the Finnish modern furniture designer Eero Saarinen, who created the Womb Chair, originally known as the Wombat Chair in 1948. The design consists of molded fiberglass shell covered with foam and then upholstered. The chair and ottoman are supported by a bent tubular frame. The design features loose cushions and a coordinating ottoman. It was named Womb Chair because it envelopes, allowing you to curl up and relax in comfort. Eero Saarinen designed with the human body form in mind. A simple concept, but many designers prefer aesthetics to functionality. In nearly every case, a piece of furniture that rises to become a classic has both striking artistic form as well as function. Its organic form is representative of the midcentury Scandinavian modernism style of furniture using synthetic materials to create inspired forms. Cashmere wool fiber is obtained from cashmere goats. Historically, fine-haired cashmere goats have been called Capra hircus laniger, as if they were a subspecies of the domestic goat Capra Hircus. Cashmere goats produce a double fleece that consists of a fine, soft undercoat or underdown of hair mingled with a straighter and much coarser outer coating of hair called Guard Hair.
