Mid Century Modern Drexel Declaration Gentleman’s Chest For Designed by Kipp Stewart

This walnut Mid Century 5 Drawer Gentleman’s Chest is in original vintage condition. This was designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall for Drexel’s Declaration Collection, circa 1960’s. The drawers feature brass and porcelain hardware. The inside drawer has the maker’s stamp (by Drexel) and an additional maker’s mark stamped on the back. This is a showstopper, a timeless style that can easily blend with any decor or furniture design. It’s designed beautifully on a recessed base that is supported by gorgeous round tapered legs. The recessed base conveys a “floating ” effect which makes this piece stand out from so many other styles today.
