Aloha Modify-It™ Modern Design

Inspired by clean European design and the relaxed style of the Hawaiian Islands, the Aloha series features a minimalist frame and thick modern cube cushions. The back cushions maintain a consistent shape, with the frame itself providing a lean taper for a comfortable lounging experience. The cushion stitch style is smooth and clean without edge piping.

The generously proportioned frame is hand-woven with colorfast PE Resin wicker. The fabric is Season-Smart™ 100% Outdoor Polyester, resistant to mildew, fading, and staining. Modify-It™ is built with a strong but lightweight, rust-proof aluminum frame for easy handling.

About Season-Smart™ Fabric

Season-Smart™ is a tightly woven all-weather fabric designed for outdoor use. It has a fabric weight of 280 Grams Per Square Meter, which is an upgrade from standard outdoor furniture fabrics. The refined over-under stitch provides a smooth surface, ideal for modern upholstery. The 100% Polyester fiber content offers resistance to mildew, staining, and fading.

What is Modify-It™?

Modify-It™ outdoor modular furniture comes in pre-configured sets of various shapes and pieces made up of individual units. For example, the Aloha series by Modify-It™ is available in 9 collections, differing in the number and type of units included. The quality and design of individual units are consistent across collections. For instance, the Kauna 5pc collection and the Maui 9pc collection differ in the amount and type of pieces, the space they occupy, and the possible configurations. You can use the configuration as pictured or modify it by moving the pieces around. Purchase an existing configuration or add pieces to meet your specific needs, such as adding a chaise lounge to the Kauna 5pc set to make it a 6pc set. Modify-It™ encourages creativity.

With some imagination, the individual pieces in the 9 Aloha collections can be rearranged to provide numerous variations. For example, a sofa can be made with 2 corner units and 1 or 2 middle armless sections depending on the desired length. Modify-It™ offers flexibility to change the configuration of your outdoor set as needed. Turn a sofa into a left or right-facing chaise sectional by adding an ottoman, make a full “L” shaped sectional, or use an ottoman for extra seating, as a footrest, or as part of the seating body for a backless lounge extension. Convert loveseats into sofas and vice versa by removing the armless center section, which then becomes a stand-alone side chair.

Cross Linked Polyethylene Resin (HD-PE Resin)

Polyethylene Resin, commonly used in plastic bottles, has many applications with an annual global production of 80 million tons. Its ability to withstand extreme weather makes it suitable for manufacturing outdoor furniture rattan. Its flexibility allows for traditional basket weaving, providing stability when exposed to elements like sunlight, heat, water, and freezing temperatures. Cross Linked Polyethylene Rattan is colorfast, with dye added during extrusion, minimizing scratch marks and improving fade resistance.

High Tensile Aluminum (HTA) Frames

High Tensile Aluminum is used for the supporting structural frame, with rattan woven around it. Although steel has higher tensile strength and is cheaper, it rusts when exposed to moisture and is heavy. The Modify-it series, intended for outdoor use in all seasons, uses High Tensile Aluminum frames for lifelong corrosion-free, lightweight strength, making it the logical outdoor solution.
