Jackie Mid Century Modern Ottoman
Constructed with exceptional materials usually not found at this price, the substantial seat cushions feature soft down feathers, inviting you to sink in. The metal Sinuous 'S Coil' system encased in dense foam supports the seating platform. For added style, a narrower splay base is extended an inch longer than a typical splay to elevate its look. Made with a handmade solid hardwood frame with metal and dowel joinery.
Making the Icon
The era of the 1950s to '60s produced some of the most impactful seating designs. Jackie suits various interior themes from “Mad Men” styled decors to the timeless “I Love Lucy”. Designed for both function and style, it adapts to informal lounging and formal gatherings.
Positioned centrally or against a wall, the curved wooden undercarriage brings craftsmanship to any room. Its flared leg design keeps Jackie off the ground while maintaining 1950s authenticity with its angled splay design.
About Vintage Tailored Twill
Twill fabric is a woven material with a distinctive pattern created by the weaving process. Although visible closely, it appears more uniform from afar. Vintage tailored twill boasts a finely tailored weave, appearing less coarse than standard twill, relying on its multi-toned fabric to create depth and texture.
