1970s Mosaic Bone Inlay Scroll Console Table

Exquisite tessellated bone scroll console table or desk attributed to Enrique Garcel for Jimeco, made in Colombia c.1970s. This rare table is a handcrafted work of art, completely wrapped in a mosaic of bone veneer which has aged gracefully into a yellowed ivory hue. Ends are dramatically curved inwards and up, a modern take on antique chinoiserie style. Curves, texture, and tone-this piece has all the warmth and character to make a room feel like home. This versatile table can function as either a stout console table or small desk, with the leg opening wide enough for a standard chair, and top deep enough for work essentials. In excellent condition considering age and delicate materials, with only ultra minor wear and one small area of discoloration.
