Vintage HPR floor lamp by Baltensweiler Schwarz

Rico Baltensweiler and Rosmarie Schwarz, who were still unmarried at the time, developed the first lamp for their own use in a workshop in Lucerne in the early 1950s. Many architect friends liked the Type 600 Model 51 so much that the first series of 10 units was produced. The company grew with the lamp series and the office area. The company has now been converted into a family business. In 1970, the designer couple designed the HPR lamp, which can be placed in various positions thanks to the flexible "hose". The floor lamp is in good condition with signs of wear.
