Both the seat and frame of Eleanor are designed with sleek rectangular shapes, offering both aesthetic appeal and comfort, uncommon in mid-century pieces. The seat and back cushions feature multi-density foam and genuine down feathers over a traditional metal S Sinuous coil system. The frame's handcrafted, kiln-dried hardwood construction harks back to the original 1950s design.
Maintenance is simplified by the absence of button tufting on the seat cushion, while a single row embellishes the back. The sofa maintains a tailored look with its full-length seat cushion and snug back design. Minimalist lines are highlighted by gently cushioned frames and matching piping at the seams. Solid hardwood legs with stiletto design maintain the mid-century modern style.
