Crafted with high-quality materials that are rarely found at this price point. The seat cushion is notably substantial, featuring down feather overstuffed cushions for added comfort. The Kardiel reproduction includes a metal Sinuos no sag 'S Coil' suspension system encased in high-density foam for the seat platform. The splay base is designed with a narrower base and a higher outward angle, extending the leg length by approximately 1” for added style. The frame is made of solid kiln-dried hardwood with metal and dowel joinery methods.

The solid, gently curved varnished wood undercarriage adds a handcrafted artisan touch, whether placed in the center of the room or against a wall. The wooden mid-century modern flair leg is ideal for suspending the frame from the floor. The leg flair angle is measured accurately to remain true to the original 1950’s design. The splayed leg design with the correct outward angle brings together all of Jackie’s modern features, capturing the essence of the period.

Genuine Top Grain Aniline Leather

Only a small percentage of the world’s leather supply is suitable for 100% Top Grain Aniline upholstery. Aniline dyeing involves soaking hides in transparent dyes, allowing the color to penetrate the natural hide. Top Grain Aniline leather is then protected against stains to minimize liquid absorption but does not require faux grain stamping. This leather breathes naturally, making it comfortable for seating. It is soft, supple, durable, and maintains the characteristics of pure leather.
