Pescado Mojarra
The fish mojarra made of wood machaco, is a handcrafted piece hand made by master craftsmen of ethnicity and culture sikuani, in the indigenous reserve Wacoyo, within the municipality of Puerto Gaitán (Meta), Colombia. Most of the artisans have inherited the knowledge of the wood carving, from a very early age; through the craft community represents nature, their myths and their know-cosmogonic, and build historical memory with the goal of preserving the values and the way of life, that of your own culture. Handicrafts exposed their pieces are unique and unrepeatable accurately by your design, finish, texture and natural supplements.
