The Basic Modern Sofa Squared is the clean, simple modern sofa design that elevates loft, industrial and mid century modern interiors. Deriving its name from a basic shape, the Square sofa's design elements (arms, etc) are formed from various shapes having cubed dimensions. Three block shapes converge to create the mono height back and arms. The seat platform features 3 removable and zippered seat and back cushions. These are designed to provide a useable, everyday seating firmness level in the medium soft range. Clean, classic & modern.

Making the icon

Modernism inspired Clean lines and signature elements including the 50’s modern “lever” leg design are present. The legs lift the body of Squared sofa high enough from the ground to create a clean, expansive feel. You’ll discover comfortable lounging feet up or feet down with the intelligent seat & back angle.

Built by hand The wood frame is crafted from Solid Ash Wood. Dense foam wraps the Genuine Hardwood frame, back & arms. The seat and back platform of the Squared Sofa feature a metal Sinuous No Sag "S Coil" Suspension System. From the wood frame, to the double lock stitching of the upholstery, the Squared Sofa is crafted one by one. Entirely by hand.

ABOUT CASHMERE WOOL

Cashmere wool fiber is obtained from “Cashmere goats.” Historically, fine-haired Cashmere goats have been called Capra hircus laniger, as if they were a subspecies of the domestic goat Capra Hircus. Cashmere goats produce a double fleece that consists of a fine, soft undercoat or under-down of hair mingled with a straighter and much coarser outer coating of hair called Guard Hair. For the fine under-down to be sold and processed further, it must be de-haired. De-hairing is a mechanical process that separates the coarse hairs from the fine hair. After this separating process the resulting premium “cashmere” is ready to be dyed and converted into yarn.

Premium Full Service home delivery

The best value for those looking for a full service delivery experience with no lifting or physical effort involved. A team of 2 rigorously screened home delivery professionals arrive on a day and time prescheduled with you. Your furnishings are brought into your home and placed in the desired location in the room(s) of your choice. The furniture is removed from the packaging/boxes. The old packaging material is then placed in a designated location.

Perhaps you need door(s) removed and replaced? Maybe you live in a condo or high rise building? Maybe there are flight(s) of stairs to climb? The safe arrival of your items is guaranteed and no obstacle is too large. We will do anything necessary to complete your delivery with quality, care and a smile. Average delivery times are 9-12 business days from the day your order leaves the Kardiel warehouse.

Curbside Residential Delivery

This economical delivery option brings your new furnishings direct to your home or business. The term curbside indicates that the items are brought to the "curb" but not inside the home.

This is a signed delivery option which means you will need to be present to accept the delivery. You will need to be prepared to carry the items into your home or office as this service does not include inside delivery. Tracking numbers are provided within 24 hours of your order leaving the Kardiel warehouse. Average delivery times nationwide for this service are 7-10 business days from the day the shipment leaves the Kardiel warehouse. The delivery is guaranteed safe when you inspect and sign with the driver for any potential shipping damage. The delivery company calls to schedule the delivery date and window of time as the arrival date of your items draws closer.

Hawaii & Alaska

Hawaii & Alaska orders allow average 12-18 business days for arrival. Tracking numbers will be provided. Alaska and Hawaii orders are not eligible for advertised "continental U.S" shipping promotions. As over water transport is involved, the shopping cart will not calculate
