Kardiel's Monroe Series, an updated reproduction of the iconic 1962 Børge Mogensen Chair. We finish our soft aniline leathers with natural oils and waxes

  • not paints and polymers. The frame is crafted from steel springs and solid hardwood. The High Resiliency Foam is durable, comfortable, and safe. It meets fire retardant requirements without the addition of chemicals.

Respecting the 1962 mid-century modern icon

The handcrafted hardwood frame is lined with dense polyurethane foam before being upholstered. Our detailed upholsters keep the lines tailored, the upholstery taunt, and the curves even. Monroe's squeak-free frame is solid wood, glued & screwed. Cushions are fitted and generously filled. Monroe is delivered with a limited lifetime warranty.

ABOUT GENUINE TOP GRAIN ANILINE LEATHER

A great option for those wanting soft unprocessed genuine leather. Top grain is known for its soft supple touch. We finish our soft aniline leathers with natural oils and waxes

  • not paints and polymers. This dyeing method displays the natural grain of the leather. A layer of protective wax is applied to the surface of Semi-Aniline Top Grain leather just before the dyeing process. This wax treatment provides a more consistent color tone and seals the surface. In the event of an accident, you get an extra couple of minutes to clean up spills.
