Kardiel's Monroe Series is an updated version of the iconic 1962 Børge Mogensen Sofa. Upholstered in performance-tested, heavy-weight fabrics, the frame is made from steel springs and solid hardwood. The High Resiliency Foam is durable, comfortable, and safe, meeting fire retardant requirements without added chemicals.

Honoring the 1962 Mid Century Modern Icon

The handcrafted hardwood frame is lined with dense polyurethane foam before upholstery. Detailed upholsters ensure tailored lines, taut upholstery, and even curves. Monroe's squeak-free frame is solid wood, glued, and screwed. Cushions are generously filled and fitted. Monroe comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
