It is our ultra-comfortable twist on the chic 1956 Florence Knoll Armchair. Mid-century design updated with a comfortable seating posture & the original 'period' tufted details we all love. Beautifully upholstered by hand in a variety of performance tested, heavy weight fabrics. The frame is crafted from steel springs and solid hardwood. The foam is dense, durable, comfortable, and safe. The foam meets CA fire retardant requirements without the addition of chemicals.
Making the Icon

Our dedicated upholsterers keep the lines tailored, the upholstery taunts, and the curves even. Florence's squeak-free frame is solid wood, glued & screwed. Buttons are hand sewn. Cushions are individually fitted to the frame and generously filled. Florence is delivered with a limited lifetime warranty.
