Construction of the Tripod chair includes a mid-century modern lounge chair style with 100% genuine Italian leather seat and back, and a chair frame made from heat and pressure molded plywood legs and body. The seat platform features a reinforced bottom seat cushion platform for firm and longer lasting support, while the cushions are made from multi-density low profile Dacron wrapped foam. Genuine Zebrawood species has been used, along with true to original 4 flat head bolts on the rear of the back, and exacting reproduction details of dimensions and curves have been maintained. The seams have been hand-sewn using original Danish under-tuck lock-stitch.
