Try Kardiel's Eleanor series, a clean modern take on the 1950’s classic. Upholstered by hand in a variety of performance tested, heavy weight fabrics. The frame is crafted from steel springs and solid hardwood. The dense High Resiliency Foam is durable, comfortable and safe. It meets fire retardant requirements without the addition of chemicals.

Rectangles combine creating the modernist design. Eleanor is comfort & exceptional aesthetics. Our persnickety upholsters keep the lines tailored, the leather taunt and the curves even. Eleanor's squeak free frame is solid wood, glued & screwed. Buttons are hand sewn. Cushions are fitted and generously filled. Eleanor is delivered with a limited lifetime warranty.

For ease of maintenance, button tufting is not present on the seat cushion. A single row of button tufting graces the back. No need to continually adjust the cushions as a constant well-tailored appearance is achieved from the full length seat cushion and affixed snug fitted back design. A gently cushioned frame and matching piping at the seams accentuate the minimalist lines. The wooden aspect of the genuine hardwood legs creates a sense of grounding. The stiletto design of the legs lifts Eleanor from the floor providing the spacious midcentury modern feel.

Heavy Velvet is a high-performance fabric that features the graceful drape & soft, supple hand of classic velvet. The fabric is durable & forms well around button tufting. The plush 'Heavy Velvet' fabric option weighs 330 Grams Per Square Meter. Martindale Rub Test 30,000+ rubs. Stain Resistant 'Heavy Velvet' is a good option for active areas.
