MR Adjustable Chaise Lounge

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s iconic MR Collection began in 1927 with two chairs submitted to the seminal Weissenhof exhibit in Stuttgart, Germany. Over the next five years he continued to add to the collection, including the MR Adjustable Chaise. Beautifully designed with a tubular steel frame that mimics the curves of the human body, this ergonomic seat is adjustable in height and angle. Still made to Mies’ exact specifications, this chaise is perfectly balanced, and features the material innovation and lack of ornamentation that epitomize the International Style.
