Woodrow Mid-Century Modern Armchair
Inspired by the 1950s modernist movement, the chair features a backward angle seating design within the wood outer frame. Combined with a soft, low-profile full-length interior cushion, it offers a comfortable lounging experience. The American walnut full wooden frame brings a natural, organic, and warm feeling to the chair. The straight wooden frame may seem solid, but the chair includes a supple and comfortable seat cushion with a supportive back. The chair's tall and thin spindle legs keep it elevated high above the ground. Using traditional wood joinery, leather stitching, and button tufting methods, the construction remains true to its original design. This modernist chair is often used for occasional seating in both casual and formal settings.
About Full Grain Aniline Leather
Made from European cowhide in Vicenza, Italy, our full-grain leather is known for its natural color variation, wrinkles, creases, and soft buttery feel. The leather has unique grains and markings, and it breathes naturally without topical colors and sealers. Over time, a patina develops, giving the furniture a comforting and vintage look.
About American Walnut
American walnut has its own natural brown color tones, presenting lighter and darker shades within the various grains. It blends well with both light and dark wood pieces.
