THE CHAIR & THE COCKROACH
We were thinking of cockroaches when it hit us. In an apocalyptic scenario, this may be the last occasional chair standing. A basic design that is such a hit, it is reaching ‘occasional chair’ fever pitch. It got sheen perfect light walnut stain rubbed onto the high armed oak frame. Also, we played a trick with the grain direction where it meets the arms: a gentle nod to the middle century.
ABOUT M-CORD FABRIC
Corduroy is a lux fabric exhibiting a consistent channel (bare to the base fabric) between the tufts. It is made by weaving extra sets of fiber into the base fabric to form vertical ridges called wales. The soft velvety cut pile surface is not just a trending statement, but it is super comfy too.
