Kardiel's Monroe Series, an updated reproduction of the iconic 1962 Børge Mogensen Chair. Upholstered in performance tested, heavy weight fabrics. The frame is crafted from steel springs and solid hardwood. The High Resiliency Foam is durable, comfortable, and safe. It meets fire retardant requirements without the addition of chemicals.

Respecting the 1962 mid-century modern icon

The handcrafted hardwood frame is lined with dense polyurethane foam before being upholstered. Our detailed upholsters keep the lines tailored, the upholstery taunt, and the curves even. Monroe's squeak-free frame is solid wood, glued & screwed. Cushions are fitted and generously filled. Monroe is delivered with a limited lifetime warranty.
