Try Kardiel's Eleanor series, a clean modern take on the 1950s classic. Beautifully upholstered in supple Top Grain Aniline Dyed Leather. The frame is crafted from steel springs and solid hardwood. The foam is dense, durable, comfortable and safe. Eleanor's foam meets CA fire retardant requirements without the addition of chemicals.

Keep it simple

5 rectangles meet, creating the modernist design. Eleanor is comfort & exceptional aesthetics. Our persnickety upholsters keep the lines tailored, the upholstery taunt, and the curves even. Eleanor's squeak-free frame is solid wood, glued & screwed. Buttons are hand sewn. Cushions are fitted and generously filled. Eleanor is delivered with a limited lifetime warranty.

For ease of maintenance, button tufting is not present on the seat cushion. A single row of button tufting graces the back. A gently cushioned frame and matching piping at the seams accentuate the minimalist lines. The wooden aspect of the legs creates a sense of grounding. The stiletto design of the legs lifts Eleanor from the floor, providing the spacious mid-century modern feel.

ABOUT TOP GRAIN SEMI-ANILINE DYED

Our top-grain Semi-Aniline leather hides are tanned in Vicenza, Italy. Our established sourcing knowledge ensures that only the best hides are picked. Our Semi-Aniline leather is liquid dyed. This tanning method displays the natural grain and lines of the leather. Eventually, leathers with this treatment develop the cherished worn surface patina. A layer of protective wax is applied to the surface of Semi-Aniline Top Grain leather just before the dying process. This wax treatment provides a more consistent color tone and seals the surface.
