Kardiel's Monroe Series, an updated reproduction of the iconic 1962 Børge Mogensen Sofa. Upholstered in performance tested, heavy weight fabrics. The frame is crafted from steel springs and solid hardwood. The High Resiliency Foam is durable, comfortable and safe. It meets fire retardant requirements without the addition of chemicals.
Respecting the 1962 mid-century modern icon
The handcrafted hardwood frame is lined with dense polyurethane foam before being upholstered. Our detailed upholsters keep the lines tailored, the upholstery taunt and the curves even. Monroe's squeak free frame is solid wood, glued & screwed. Cushions are fitted and generously filled. Monroe is delivered with a limited lifetime warranty. Monroe takes the details beyond price offering lasting value in a comfortable, iconic MCM design.

Elyx Belgian is an intricately woven fabric with uneven bold texture. A monotone appearance with a soft matte glow. The tuft is an understated weave with a heavy texture.
