Made to ward off the elements year-round, Aegean’s covers are constructed of tough 100% solution-dyed all-weather polyester fabric designed especially for outdoor use. They’re breathable; resistant to water, mildew, abrasion and sun exposure; and easy to clean.

About Solution Dyed Fabrics

Aegean’s cushions feature 100% solution-dyed all-weather polyester outdoor fabric. Solution dying is a process in which color dye is added when fabric is in a liquid state. This means the color goes all the way through the fiber to the core. This enhances the fabrics ability to withstand fading.

Outdoor Acacia Wood

As if created for outdoor use, Acacia wood is a hard, dense & gorgeous all-weather wood. The Acacia used in the Aegean outdoor set has been kiln dried, sanded smooth & finished with a clear natural oil finish. Acacia develops a smooth even patina over time in outdoor conditions and has inherent qualities in the wood to resist pests and bugs and rot. Furniture made from solid wood, such as Acacia and Teak, is susceptible to developing splits and fissures. The odds are enhanced with exposure to the elements. This is to be expected with a natural wood product and is not a manufacturing defect.
