Self-aligning, maintenance-free, carbon-graphite sleeve in a nickel-plated carbon steel backing ring, mounted in a cast iron housing. It uses a design that maintains the self-aligning capability of the bearing by preventing oxidation of the spherical surfaces and uses tight-grained graphite that resists seizure in outdoor intermittent service applications. Rated for service up to 1000 °F.
