1st Gen 1956-1959 Eames Lounge Chair and Boot Glide Ottoman

Rare and collectible 1958 Eames lounge chair with ottoman, model 670-671 includes all distinct 1st generation details, restored and reupholstered by Herman Miller. 1st gen details: 1. Three screw armrests 2. Boot glide ottoman. 3. White medallion logo (in circulation between 1956-1964) 4. Silver cushion clips at up right angle. This particular 1st generation has striking grain across all the shells, with matching production stamp number 712. Restored by Herman Miller in the 1990s with new shock mounts stamped and dated and custom ordered cushions (new foam and dacron).
