Antique Austrian Biedermeier Walnut Ebony Gilt Bronze Chest Drawers Commode 1820

A fine antique Austrian early Biedermeier walnut & ebonized chest of drawers/commode, circa 1820. This very handsome antique Biedermeier commode is in excellent condition; made from blond walnut with elegantly figured grain, the top having an ebonized band. It has three drawers each with the original gilt-brass handles & lock escutcheons, flanked by a pair of ebonized columns mounted with gilt-bronze Corinthian capitals & plinths. Raised on an ebonized skirt with four ebonized legs with block feet. Drawer linings & back panels are white pine. The finish was recently refreshed in the seller's professional workshops; condition noted as very good antique condition.
