Vintage Bauer International Teak Caned Plantation Chair With Extension Armrests

A classic vintage 1990s teak plantation lounge chair with a taught hand-caned seat and backrest. This chair is unique with a handcarved leaf medallion on the headrest and large buttons on the armrests. As with this style of plantation chair, additional leg support rotates out from the arm supports. The legs are beautifully turned and sturdy. The caning is very taught. Bauer International was founded in the 1990s, crafting high-end furniture based on historical West Indian designs. This chair does not bear the Bauer sticker but matches others that do.
