Paper needed: density 200-250 gr/m²; sheet must be either A4 (210 x 297 mm), A3 (297 x 420 mm) or A1 (841 x 594 mm). With A4 you will need: 16 sheets; With A3 you will need: 8 sheets; With A1 you will need: 2 sheets. You will also need a sharp edged knife, metal ruler, cardboard for the base, glue (e.g. UHU or PVA wood glue) and a cutting surface.
